    So...

I Downloaded the latest bios firmware for my computer: Pavivlion dv6 1341eo
    ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54501-55000/sp54629.exe

Extracted and made a copy of 3623F46.fd and renamed it to bios.tmp
Opened the file with Visual Studio 2011 (could use: Cygnus Hex editor or winhex)
    Removed All hex code before 5D 00 00 80
    Downloaded LZMA SDK
    then: lzma d bios.tmp bios.bin

And there I'm. I havent figure out where to go next.
What I want to accomplice is to hack my bios my self, but It seems that I lack a lot of knowledge.
I wanted to do a quite dangerous operation: remove heat protection an lock up all the "hidden menus".
Could some one point me in the right direction or maybe mod it for me?

    Kind Regards

Btw, I just found ezh2o in Chinese, translated it with google-tranlsate through Visual Studio 2011. Works!

How do I for example know what module 4D37DA42-3A0C-4EDA-B9EB-BC0E1DB4713B is?

    Is there a lookup table.

    Kind Regards

I downloaded iasl-win-20120215 and tried it out on my bios.bin file. Sadly it didnt work.

When I just ran iasl I got some kind of default dump and in .asm ASM and C I can understand. But want it for my bios.

Later I also tried to change a part of the text in the bios.bin ex: Administrator Password to XXXinistrator Password (just a test).
Then I lzma e bios.bin newbios.bin, renamed it 3623F46.fd run it with insyde flash util. But the size of the file was altered so I coulnt flash the bios :(
