Mod incompatible app for sideloading

    Hello!

    Some devices have a limited selection of apps, however, some side-loaded apps work... one that I am trying says "it is incompatible."

    One method to overcome this is to have a rooted device (not possible for now)... and possibly another is to unpack the apk and modify it somehow. Does anyone have any input, links, etc. for me to try?

    nexus 10; also, android tv

    I have root on nexus 10; android tv, no such luck

    Isn't something of that nature largely carried out by Android developers?

    Yes, but I am no dev. I can follow instructions... I would like to have the know how this is done! Any help is appreciated!
