Figured I'd ask here since there seems to be a lot of expertise, does anyone know how to modify an Intel UEFI BIOS? Specifically, this one, downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23611&ProdId=3477&lang=eng&OSVersion=OS%20Independent&DownloadType=Firmware I ended up purchasing an ES CPU by accident, it boots with an older BIOS after a long time (some kind of error timeout), but I flashed a new one and it won't even POST anymore. Going to borrow a non-ES CPU to put the old BIOS back on, but it'd be nice to mod one to support the CPU so I don't have a 5-minute POST. This is the CPU I have, cpu-world.com/sspec/QA/QA8Z.html If anyone just point me to the tools needed to extract/patch the BIOS, it would be greatly appreciated. Not finding much about these since its a higher end server board.
