    Hi Everyone!

I was just looking for some assistance. I wish to mod my acer m7720 because there are no options available in the bios for really doing anything other than enabling on board devices and changing boot priority.
I found two sites that have to do with this:
    1. This one:
Not sure about this bios SLICs but the model and revision is correct.
    2. Bios-mods.com
    http://www.bios-mods.com/showthread.php?tid=553&pid=5673#pid5673

They both contain bios mods but I'm unsure of what the difference between the mods are. All I want is to have more control and more importantly my ram speed is being incorrectly set at 1066 instead of 1333 and I want to fix that. I come for assistance and guidance. I have never done this before and don't want to do anything foolish and ruin this otherwise good machine.

    So....help please :)

    Thanks,
    BoggyP

The Mod by China4Ever has SLIC 2.1 added but does NOT have the menu items unlocked.
The other probably has just the menu items unlocked but no SLIC 2.1 added.
SLIC 2.1 is used to Activ*te Win 7 and Vista.

replacement mainboard has 5720 bios need to change to 7720g

Replacement mainboard has 5720 bios not 7720g so numeric keypad doesn't work reflashing with latest 7720g bios doesn't work so keyboard layout must be in a protected. How can I mod the bios to get the numeric keypad working.
