    hi guys.

i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas regarding the esata ports on the acer laptops.

i have a 6935g that has the esata port, but the port only functions if there is a device attached to it on bootup, then it stays enabled untill reboot.
although its not a great hastle to attach a drive to the port on boot i often find im having to reboot just to enable the port.

there are no options in the bios that relate to the esata port other than the ide/achi selection, nothing in regards to enable or disable.

so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to perm enable the esata via a bios mod?

    thanks.
