Is it possibly to modify msconfig on my C (now D) from windows7. Its my boot disc with XP on it and currently I can't get it to write any changes to disc - I have a startup program I can't get kicked out that I believe is causing the issue. I've tried disabling it through XP msconfig and deleting it through spybot, doesn't work. It's not spyware, but system changes do not take effect..........................................................................................update= I got it fixed :)

no you would have to mount the registry from your other install into your current install then use something like autoruns.
