I own a Latitude E6400 with one internal ssd and one ssd in the modular bay. I managed to update my bios with the option rom of the M6500, which allows raid0 and raid 1. The only obstacle i need to tacle in order to create a raid0 configuration between the 2 disks is that the disk in the modular bay is marked as external. Has anyone already managed to reverse the option rom to allow a raid0 configuration to span over internal and "external" disks ?

I attached the option rom i use.

    Thanks in advance.

I tried that but i makes my E6400 hang, after the dell logo, on a blinking cursor :/ I think the module size is too big.

Bummer...I'm in the same boat with a Latitude E4300. It won't let me use the bigger OROM's...if I ever find a way, I will post back here.
