Hi, soon I'll have to install a Windows Server copy on a my friend's PC, that needs more than 2 simultaneous RDP sessions. Googling I found that for doing this, we must pay for RDS CALs. I also found a GPO Spoiler: GPO Code: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Remote Desktop Services → Remote Desktop Session Host → Connections. Limit Number of Connections = 999999 Restrict Remote Desktop Services users to a single Remote Desktop Services session = DISABLED but it have a grace period of 120 days. There is a sort of patch that works like a KMS auto-renewal tool for always have 120 days? And if possible that doesn't require a manual dlls editing? Otherwise there is a specific Windows Server version that allows this by default?
IIRC, ServerRdsh is basically Enterprise with some server related features, hence it's actually better than Pro.
It's basically a server branded as client, which means that some server annoyances are applicable (say client av or partitioning sw refuse to install)
I used the forum search tool but I can't found the stuff to convert Windows 11 Pro to ServerRdsh Where is located?
The extra service aggreements are in this thread: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-remote-desktop-services-120-day-limit.71727/ post #22
