As the title says, my motherboard has died. It has the ASUS OEM SLIC and was successfully activated. I'm intending to upgrade to a new proc/mb combo and the BIOS I've found for it uses a Gigabyte SLIC/SLP. I expect I will have to go through reactivation. Is that correct? Is it going to be harder than that? I've done a LOT of googling today as well as digging through the forums and haven't unearthed the answer to this. Also I can't seem to find the basic instructions here on how to install the OEM certs and activate against them. Can someone point me to that info? (I think I have that terminology correct...) Wow thanks for the link! I was able to find the right OEM SLP key and flash the BIOS so I'm fixed. (Haven't done this in ~3-4 years; mostly forgot...) Next time though I'm going to use Daz's tool. Thanks again.
