Windows 8 lets you mount an ISO image file which is fantastic since I can't install Nero's image drive I've been using for years. One problem though is after you reboot, you have to mount it again. Is there a way to mount an image file and have it stay mounted even after you reboot? Thanks
Great Ideas!! My enter key doesn't seem to work on this forum with Win8 so I have to type it all in one paragraph, sorry. As for the registry option, is there a way to specify a drive letter with that command? Can I change a registry entry for the mounted file for the drive letter after mounted so I don't have to go into computer management? Thanks
Hell, if Windows 8 didn't have ISO Mounting support; I would still be using. Much much better than opening an ISO with a utility as WinRAR or WinZip and having it expand all the files to a temp location just to execute it.
I use Firefox on XP and like it. Last time I checked, Firefox wasn't ready for Windows 8. It was still in testing.
