How to move (if is possible) current activation with legit key over the phone from Windows 8.1 Pro RTM to new installation Windows 8.1 RTM without again call to Microsoft?
You mean to say, you want to downgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 8.1 Core using the same key? AFAIK, it's not possible because a Pro key and a Core key are two different things.
No I don't want upgrade or downgrade. I have already install Windows 8.1 Pro RTM activated over the phone with legit key. Because for example my computer has a virus I install again fresh Windows 8.1 Pro RTM. Can I activate this new installation without again call by move activation(or product ID, or something else) from previous Windows to new Windows?
You can automatically Backup & Restore Win8.1 activation data with Microsoft Toolkit v2.4.9 ! Tested and working fine with Win8.1 PRO + Office 2013! Download link: Code: rghost.net/download/48650179/3f71d5f01dfebe2e610559d6fe56c8c88c9c662b/MTKV249.7z Password: 249
I tested Backup & Restore with Win8.1 PRO + Office 2013 and it worked ! Sorry, but I can't help you with Win8.1 WMC. But the author of "Microsoft Toolkit v2.4.9" is a member of this forum. So, I suggest you to ask CODYQX4 ! You can find his MTK-thread here (and his online atm!): Code: forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/28669-Microsoft-Toolkit-Official-KMS-Solution-for-Microsoft-Products
Heh, yes I'm aware. Perhaps it's reading it as a retail key or something and giving a slight bug in the key check. You should post this stuff in the MTK thread so CODYQX4 can work out the bug. I'm sure he probably doesn't have any Office365 activations to work with, so you'd be doing him a favor if you help him with screenshots and maybe test a thing or two...
I have tested this MTK 2.4.9 to backup my win8.1 activation files and when it ask for the key used then I checked it with my used key for win8.1 pro or wmc but it did not match to any one of them, then I checked my MS office 2013 key and surprisingly it matched with the one I used. i do not know when you take backup of windows 8.1 activation then why it asks for MS Office key?
Because the activation data of Win8.1 and Office2013 are stored in the same files (= tokens.dat + data.dat). If MTK249 detects an installed Office2013 on Win8.1, it automatically makes a backup of Win8.1 AND Office2013 at the same time - and for the backup of Office2013 the key is required ...
Is there a way to read the whole Office-365-Subscription-Key out ? MTK shows the Ending of the Key, but fails to show me the right key, if I go through the Office 2013 Key-List.
