Got a new laptop that is currently running legit 8.1 and was going to do the Windows 10 update. I have Office 2010 that is activated with KMS but keep hearing more and more about the fact that MS can detect pirated software and block/disable it. I use Office a lot and it's pointless me doing the Windows 10 update if I won't be able to use it. Is there any truth in this?

Because of post 4, let me go deeper. The same spying has been added to win 8.1, unless you have stopped updates. So your office should be turned off right, well it's not is it and it works just fine. Let me put it this way, if MS can do what people are blowing out of proportion, then no one will be able to use anything, so when that happens what would it matter. Now for the MS news. MS was talking about their own Xbox games and apps. They have not been able to stop that either, and ask them why thousands of people are using windows Enterprise for free if they can stop them. It's a scare tactic that will go NOWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!. Please ignore post 6, and if you need proof why, just read it's other posts.
