MS Fingerprint Reader and Windows 7

    I found out that MS fingerprint reader will not work with Windows 7 but has anyone able to get it to work?

    I heard that the windows vista driver for 32 bit can work with it (but after doing some tricks, like exporting the finger database from a vista machine), or installing Win7 as upgrade on vista with the reader already installed.

    but for the 64bit, there is no and will never be drivers...

    how lame is this, the reader worked on betas and its discontinued in the final version, looks like a commercial decision, not a technical one...

    I have two readers that are useless now, the only hardware not recognized by w7 is the fingerprint reader by MICROSOFT!

    I hope a solution is provided soon.
