    Hi Guru's

This may sound stupid... Ofcourse people here are expected to have minimum necessary tools and idea. But as the subject says do we have a noob way to get the activation done on Win 8 Activated machine.

    Please direct & advice.

Thanks and appreciate your time. Will this method work on the RTM version of Office 2013 (en_office_professional_plus_2013_x86_x64_dvd_1135709.iso).

    Please advise

That is a negative. KMS only works with VL.

    Code:
    English Volume Edition names

    SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2013_64Bit_English_MLF_X18-55297.ISO

    SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2013_W32_English_ MLF_X18-55138.ISO

There are 5 threads talking about activation. Noone knows which is more updated.

That's why a common thread should be created.

You are removing the kms host name and setting the default in its place.

Also please put the full command line output which if your activated will show much more information.

    No script seems to work...Eg:

    1) run CMD as admin
    2) cd c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15
    3) cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
    4) processing ....... (long Wait - 1 Min)
    5) Error code 429
    6) Flashing cursor in CMD

    ?????

In time ..... if it worked ..... I may change my product key, but at the moment I have a more basic problem with any cscript OSPP.VBS command.
