Ms office 2010 msdn edition..is proofing tool kit installation necessary?

    i have office 2010 MSDN edition and have installed using my MSDN key...previously i installed volume edition alongwith proofing toolkit...now my question is is it necessary to install proofing tool kit on MSDN edition (retail) also.?:confused::confused:
