ms office 2016 home and student retail

    does anyone know the best way to activate this, as im using on a dualboot pc. certain activators don't seem to work. unsure if convert to vl will work

    I think most activator uses KMS which means you need to convert retail to VL then activator should work

    problem is gpt partition, don't think activators work with it

    When KMS is used for activation the partition layout doesn't matter in any way. It's the Windows Loader by Daz that need MBR to work, don't confuse them.

    Maybe you all overlooked that OP wants to activate:

    Office 2016 Home and Student

    This version and Office 2016 Home and Business are not designed by MS for KMS activation.
    Therefore these editions are not recognized as valid targets by any KMS activator.

    @lImoNASTUr: Get yourself Office 2016 Professional Plus. This will work.

    Yup was about to reply the same thing as ratzle. You can't activate anything other than ProPlus unless you have a valid key assigned to a Microsoft account and sign in with that account. Major pain in the ass when selling to businesses that I have to make a billion Microsoft accounts.
