And once more google is filled with issues about this. But it didnt help here. Still have some Panasonic Toughbooks (tablets) here. CF-H2(B) Mk1. For the dozens time Ive installed Windows 11, because you got to be carefull in which order you install all those drivers. It works very well now ! Except for rightclick "Display Settings". It'll throw out an error "ms-settingsisplay" this files does not have a program associated. Also the installed intel display dashboard wont start. (Intel HD3000 is installed) The last time I checked on afresh installation, the "whatever intel graphics Center" could be seen in the lower right of Windows. Its not there anymore either. perfom shows Runtiem Broker / Settings and Display Errors (SensorsApi.dll) I guess it wasnt really made for Windows 11 . Its all Windows 8.1 (x64) drivers.
========================================================================== Hello @itsmemario1; After looking @ your post; I was also CURIOUS - why it didn't work < as I have about 12+ Pans'>H2& C2&CF versions> in use by the field staff; The older ones = intel 2 series, and the newer C2 = intel 3 series, CF = i5 4 series..... Most all of these are running Win8.1 x64; and just for the sake of "seeing" what you gotten > I decided to do "an upgrade" to win 11. Since I have already done 3 Other laptops with same/similar instel series 2 CPU, but the laptops only had 4GB RAM, and no SSD. this is what I did: ( for older Pans.....) 1) upgra[/QUOTE] ========================================================================== "upgra" sounds like a plan ;D (waiting for your "fixed" reply) I also decided to use the 800mb isntaller by panasonic isntead of going driver after driver. I also learned the the fingerprint scanner isnt quite happy with Win11...working on it... The big driver pack did install things like "Urgent Notice", which probably is the "hand writing tool", but it cant be executed. It also installs RFID and the scanner, even if my model came without it. Ill try the manual installation of the HD3000 driver for sure. Right now Im working on the fingerprint device. Did you manage to make it work ? Also Im useing Windows 11 Pro, as there are Win7 Pro serial stickers on these devices.
FYI - from my personal experience ; there is one good thing about having WIn7 keys; Win7 Enterprise = runs win11 enterprise <actually runs as fully legal and lisc keys> win7 ULTIMATE key = can used on any WIn11 <pro to Enterprise> ((not sure if this is well known @ mydigitalife))
I already created a seperate thread for the fingerpritn phenomenon : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-windows-hello-currently-not-available.85767/ The "Lenovo Fingerprint Manager" sounds interesting, but Windows wont let me install it just with compatibility on, it crys "this cant be exceuted/security/problems etc.". The included "protector suite 2009" (xp/vista) requires NetFramework 3.0 and Windows is crying that my version is not supporting 64 bit. Lets see...downlaod 64-bit variant. On top of it "Acces to graphics hardware denied" while surfing with firefox. Uuuuuhhh... ^^
Intel HD 3000 is already the latest installed you pointed at. (9.17.10.4459) Will try a fresh re-install soon.
