I think I am missing something as I thought I could use my MSDN license with the digital river downloads. I lost my MSDN iso when my backups failed and I'm no longer a member. I'm trying to re-install and it says my license isn't valid for my copy of windows.

I downloaded 2 different versions of 64 bit Windows 7 Professional in English, one without media player and the other with. My MSDN license is for Windows 7 Professional (64 bit).

@tfosorcim: What are you talking about?

The version without Media Player is the N version. N versions take other keys. Yours is for the version without N. Could you test your key using the Ultimate key checker? It will tell you exactly for what edition that key is.

Note that, depending on the MSDN contract, keys might expire after subscription ended.
