Hello I have the MSI H61M P31 G3 board If you look at the bios downloads you can see the internal name is ms7788 and the versions are all 2.0 I also found the H61M-P20-G3 which is version 1.0 and H61M-P31W8 which is 3.0 Do you reckon I could crossflash the 3.0 bios to my 2.0 board? Would it work? Are these boards all physically the same anyway minus the label? Thanks and sorry for not linking the download page cause im too noob
If they are different revisions then there's most likely a component change somewhere. Perhaps Lan, Audio, ect. If MSI has posted a different bios for each board then I would NOT flash for a different model... You'll brich your board... Just use the bios for your board.
