    0x0a7a=GT218M (Tesla)

    Onboard or socketed MXM-card?
For soldered onboard-gpu: Forget it, impossible.

    Hi
    it is onboard gpu!

    The main problem:

This is a MSI AE2070 (20 inch LCD) all in one pc for repairing. the main board (MS-AC711 REV 1.1)is damaged.
I order a similar main board that is used on Haier all in one pc .
the Nvidia chip is different. AE2070 Nvidia is Gforce-540 and Haier Gforce-405.(onboard GPU)
Unfortunately the new main board is configured for 22 inch LCD panel. LVDS default resolution(1920 1080) When i use it on AE2070 the picture is bigger than 20 inch in bios area. In windows all resolutions have the same problem.
Any solution to change the LVDS resolution in bios file?
Next: Hdmi port only start when windows is loading.any way to start hdmi when system is turning on?

    Regards

To my knowledge, the LVDS and port-configuration settings are stored in vbios.
It is possible to transfer/modify settings to different vbios, but i have no tool, perhaps can be done manually. A difficult task with low chance for success - i can give it a try, please attach both complete bios-files (will extract vbios on my own). No guarantee for bricking!

For Intel-onboard gpu a tool exists for transfer settings, "Intel BMP Binary Modification Program". I don't know if a public tool is available for nvidia.

    Thank you so much.
Msi AE2070 bios file for 20 inch all in one.
    Q5T C206_MS-AC711 bios file for 22 inch .

Q5T C206_MS-AC711 must be edited to change resolution 1920x1080 to 1600x900.

To change the resolution of the Acer D270, replacing the VBIOS I took from the Intel D2700DC BIOS was enough.

But the whole new vbios was inserted in place of old one. The fact that the main board still works means that vbios is being initialized.
Probably the screen resolution is set in the nvram registers. I'll check this out.

The device ID only needs to be edited if you plan to change onboard gpu, but you're changing the screen panel.
Sorry, I have no more idea what to do.

    This won't fix your problem.
Changing device-id is not recommended and only quick-and-dirty-solution. It will only work for same gpus and since Kepler-generation of nVidia software-editing is not sufficient, also resistors have to be changend.

Please try AIDA64 and check if the display is recognized correctly, perhaps EDID is transferred and can be read.
