Do NOT Enter a Certificate While Doing the Mod. Just Click on Yes and use the Dynamic Method. Enter a SLIC.Bin and an SLP File (if you want it for XP) and click on GO.
Ok so just hit yes when I get that just point to my SLIC file of choice like MSI or DEll and don't enter a SLP file (I only want to use windows 7) then leave as Dynamic and just hit go? Just making sure I got it correct thx!
That will work. If the Dynamic Mod doesn't work to activate Win 7, then click on Cancel on the Popup and choose SSV2 Method.
Sorry to ask again. But do I have to use a MSI slic since the manufacturer says MSI or could I just leave that alone and insert a DELL one? Or would I need to change the manufacturer to DELL also? When I try to verify again a certificate like Dell for example it says: Existing SLIC certificate ( ) does not certificate DELL.bin matches certificate. Should I be worried? Thanks again!
Ok thanks alot NoJuan999! I will give it a shot! Then just use the matching cert for the brand and key correct? Thanks again!
The Certificate that Matches the SLIC.Bin you use on the Mod must be installed in Windows. You can use any OEM SLP Key that matches the Version of Windows 7 you are using. Read Section 6 of the Windows 7 Repository to see how to Manually install the Certificate and Key.
