You can make one yourself, just take the OEM folder and copy it to your xp home folder and change OEMSLPkeys to Home edition.. that should work. Maybe i can upload it to my skydrive or something? (If so, then only the OEM folder beacuse i have a s**tty upload) Edit: But why not use this professional edition instead of home ? Edit2: Maybe ill upload XP Pro home/pro later aswell or not.
Im actually uploading xp sp3 english right now, 12 parts @ 48 MB each to my skydrive, im not sure wether it'll work for you to download everything since people (that arent logged in) had problems but why not to give it a try..
My computer power supply crashed few days ago and took the mainboard down to, now i have to wait to be replaced ( they said 15 days ). Until then iPod internet ( it sucks but better then nothing )
Can I install this on my Samsung Netbook? what about the CD Key? I have a genuine XP SP3 (Retail) CD Key, would it work?
Not sure if it says so on first page but this is a OEM Scan kit. it scans bios for brand and uses OEMSLP keys which is used to activate xp, vista and 7 just like oem manufactures does so you wont need your retail or oem key on this one..
Supported brands are on the first page.. If the kit doesnt ahve support for samsung you can always use the OEMSLP key anyway.. ofcourse
Thanks again for this handy build ColdAsIce... I had a Dell Dimension 8400 come in yesterday with a blown hard drive, so I installed the new 500Gb drive then used your disc to install XP Pro. Install went flawlessly and no Dell bloat-ware needed to be removed after the install!!! Saved me a lot of time.....
ofcourse not.. it just check bios for brand, add oembiosbla, key and oem info thats all. The dvd/cd cant holdall (socalled) bloatware for all manufactures
Btw.. arent there any xp home edition OEMSLP Keys ? I know professional have SLP keys but i havent seen any for home edition?
