As an System/Network Administrator, i am completely frustrated about this update! (Not to say again disappointed by M$) 1. Release annoyances! OK, so Windows 10 "Threshold 2" was annouced, it was pushed into november, and not on patch tuesday but 2 days later, than not everyone is getting the update (Micros**t has given 3 different reasons) 2. VLSC (Micros**t Software Assurance) crap Why is "Threshold 2" not also available on VLSC, description still reports a release date of 1st aug'15 (so still bld 10240) 3. Windows To Go Windows To Go not working! We use alot of WTG10, so we downloaded the Enterprise version from MSN, and created a new WTG installation, this was succesful created, but upon starting it up we got the following error message: Windows could not load required file WinSetup.dll The file may be corrupt. To install Windows, restart the installation Error code 0x7E Never have seen this before (and we have created alot of WTG (8.1 & 10) installations in the past, without (any major) issues! 4. Windows To Go (2) So we decided to use Rufus to create a new WTG, wel this looks to work OK, until... you do an update, sysprep de WTG, and restart from it, and now a new suprise! Aother fckng error window: Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation Why can't M$ deliver something that has been properly tested! I remember a post that i found on some forum saying, that Windows 10 will be a permanent beta version! and i would add: it will never mature, and so there'll never be a final version.
Being a professional IT technician you could have asked for official ms help, or did they dislike your choice of words as i do?
With that attitude, and that tone, you're sure to get jumped on like a June Bug in a crowded trout stream.
i checked your post it's mostly bs and upgrade issues all is working here on my end good luck you might want to learn how to fix user end issues and stop blaming the os for your problems
He has a right to use the OS that way if he chooses, and it should work as advertised. Really not anyone else's concern how the OS is implemented.
Maybe if he adds a few more cuss words to his post his problems will be solved! I think he's 14 years old working in his father's IT company as the "tech d00d"
Well, beta software (and that is what Windows 10 is & will be) is always full of things that work strange/do not work etc Makes it more challenging this way... if one wants to spend time on it
