I buy this verry good notebook (without os). INSYDE BIOS!!! 1. And ofcourse try to install win7 ... ... trouble1: Activation not works! Why?: SLP Flag is set to dissable! Symptoms: Slic Toolkit canot read SLIC. I Dump Bios with Universal BIOS BACKUP and find SLIC inside. All looks ok but again and again activation not works. (I do not love loaders and emulators) Solve: HPBI103.EXE this help me to enable SLP. - HPBI103 write SLP ON 2. Second trouble: I try to install my SIERRA WIRELESS MC8781 inside. and ofcourse got error from BIOS. "105 Unrecognized WWAN device" I unpack bios and find in 2 modules checking for wwan device with VID:03F0 and PID:251D - Named Qualcomm GOBI 2000 - UN2420 HP abreviature. i try to solve problem with paching but - I export with RWE 1.4.7 acpi tables rebuild bios but Windows crash with error "NON ACPI FULL COMPILANT BIOS". (here i think RWE not correct decode acpi tables?!?!?!?!) Ofcourse resore original to continue machine usage. But this will be good to be pached. Any help WELCOME!!! Regards...
