    Sorry, but why to make a mod with a tool that just about any punter could do himself?
    And if they can not then they should not be playing with fire anyway...

    Honest question, I do not want to make it into long discussion

    Because most people don't trust themselves to do it.
    Also, Experience with the tools plays a major part in supplying mods that work and will not have any ill effect on the PC.
    The default method chosen by the tools is simply not always the best method for every BIOS.
    I have seen many people Brick a MB by using the tools without knowing what they are doing and using the default method instead of using the method that works best for their specific BIOS.
