I googled for a program to save my texts.I need one text in particular. I only found one but it doesn't work. Google won't let it access something but I changed my mail setting to allow IMAPI and I can't get the program to go any further. It is called SMS Backup +. Any other android programs to do this? Thanks.
Do I understand correctly that you actually want to download emails coming to a third party email address to your android phone/computer? And do you really want to download and save everything (also junk, fake and advertisements) or just the email you really need? If any of the above is true, what email service do you use and what android or other phone you use? And one more important thing, do you really want to save them in plain text and if so, why? On this case You'll lose so much. And how You want then to handle attachments?
No thats not what I want to do at all. I have text messages on my cell phone that I want to have a copy of to take to court. I only want to save 1 text message from an individual. I have a Samsung A52 Android phone with Android 12 OS.
Does this mean that you have an SMS and want to send it as a text file or otherwise to someone? If so, at least my Samsung, for example, offers the ability to copy what ever to and from the clipboard can paste where ever you want. There is also ability sending a link or by email. Don't You really have these abilities or choices there? Some phones (not all) allows also send directly to pc as text file.
I can copy and paste one text at a time but in this case, the conversation had 75-100 back and forth messages.
So far, you haven't answered exactly what you really want to do. If they were SMS, all of them will be stored on your SIM card and there is not possible save 75-100 SMS, there can be stored many less. So what do you really have and what do you really want to do? If these were emails, then all emails are stored on the email provider's server and can be downloaded using any local email program, for example using such as Outlook or using what ever other local message program, what can be used for reading messages offline. And going back to SMS, some phones have built in option to save all SMS messages as text to file and send to pc. Then You don't need any third pary program or widget. But as long as You don't even say what exactly You have, not possible give any special suggestion.
