I am doing a total clean reinstall of 7 and all my programs due to several errors of my own tinkering (aka I screwed the pooch beyond recognition lol) What I am wanting to know is what program would you recommend to use for doing a total backup image on dvd of everything once I get all my programs reinstalled. So if I screw up again I won't have so much work to do. I know there are several programs available but looking for something with a very simple interface for a novice like myself. Thanks for your help

I've did the samething myself a time or two:eek:. The last time i did it i used the backup and restore feature built into windows 7 ultimate and created a image dvd. I've restored my pc a few times with it without any problems.

I'm a big fan of Acronis True Image Home.
Not 100% user friendly. But allows you to make a recovery partition. So if you foobar you windows. You just hit F11 on boot and restore.
