Need a ticketing / knowledge base software that can index and search files

    Im looking for a knowledge base tool for a project at work.
    We have a mass of documented solutions in txt, pdf, and doc format.
    I would like to implement a knowledge base / ticketing system and also be able to reference our MANY existing
    solutions.
    I've looked into products like ManageEngine's ServiceDesk Plus 8.0, that tool works really well but it's not able to index and search our exisitng files without importing them each one by one( this will take WAY too much time).

    If anyone knows of any other software that can do this please let me know.

    try using spiceworks. if i understood your question correctly it should be all you need and its free.:D

    Look at Softaculous.com!

    There several Scripts available free for download and use. You'll need to have Xampp, Wamp or some like that installed on your system to get the scripts to run, but no any problem with that.
