i just installed windows server 2008 i got from my colleage i installed standart version and after finishe installing discoverd that it's not R2 (figures) so RemoveWAT don't work there i need something eles. thanks in advance.
Get a genuine key from Dreamspark, no hacks needed. There's a long thread about this in the Server forums. (And if you're in school, you might be able to get it 100% legit.) You can get 2008 or R2.
You want the Lysergic's Server 2008 Activation Bypass version 1.1, it forms the basis of what became Remove WAT. It does not work on R2, it only works on W2K8 vanilla. Google this. Doh, didn't catch that, glad I "stocked up" lol -- but he did mention he got his copy of Server 2008 from college. He still might be able to get a genuine key via Dreamspark, which is 100% better than bypassing.. but yea if not, there's loaders for both 2008 (based on Vista) and R2 (based on 7), again hit the Server forums. Easy installation.
