Need advice to make macOS High Sierra Bootable USB from Windows 10 PC?

    Hi all,

    I was gifted a MacBook Pro 2013 Late and no OS on it. I tried to reinstall macOS from the Internet recovery but the progress never ends even I waited more than 20 hours. Is it possible to make a macOS High Sierra bootable USB from Windows PC?

    Before posting here, most of the suggestions I found from Google are recommending me to do this on a Mac. However, I don't have additional Mac at hand.

    Much appreciated if you could share a way to create High Sierra bootable USB from Windows 10 PC.

    Or you can install win 10 on it

    I have a 2012 and for High Sierra last year (2024) I had to do something during the install to change a URL from HTTPS to regular HTTP for online recovery. After doing that though it installed fine (about an hour with a SSD).
