Need an updated bios for Aspire A615-51G

    Do you have access to a hardware programmer? While it is possible to bypass the model checking routine in theory, you should have a recovery method ready in hand.

    I've heard of a bypass that works on older versions of InsydeFlash (they use this for official bios updates) by editing a file called platform.ini:
    [Bios_Version_Check]
    flag=1
    You just change that 1 to 0, but this version ignores this straight away...

    Actually one moment I just realized how stupid that was, that .exe is a self-extracting file. I have to extract it first before putting that stupid platform.ini
