Well..not sure what to say. I don't know much like all you experts here on Windows 7....but I can tell you I installed SLIC + Certificates + OEM info from DAZ Loader...

First I did Alienware stuff...but this gave a "Windows product validation failed" I don't know what is going on in all honesty. I tried through IE 8 in Compat mode, etc. But all in all...I had a legitimate Home Premium....used "ANYTIME UPGRADE" key from PirateBay to go to ULTIMATE.....this upgraded to ultimate for my PC...but now that key is not connected to this PC at all...

I used DAZ Loader...Win 7 Extreme Loader XE (for Alienware and DELL) stuff separately....validation constantly fails....Note I tried reinstalling KB971033...(because this is WAT Update) but right now it is currently installed...I have also tried DAZ loader without the update...and going to microsoft.com/validate (which says Windows Validation interrupted) not sure if this has anything to do with it?

In any case....trying the DAZ loader is hurting me here...I don't know what to do...I even tried XE Loader and 7 Loader...all of which reveal that "windows is activated" along with their respective OEM keys...and yet Windows does not validate?

Interestingly enough, I have a second built PC (not-branded to an OEM) and I used DAZ Loader in the SAME EXACT way - and the upstairs one passes validation with flying colors....

Is this all DELL's fault? I even tried doing DELL SLIC etc, no go ...all of this with "Ignore existing SLIC" in DAZ.

Someone please help me out here. please?

Captain Jack Harkness.. A person like you who fights aliens with Toshiko and the rest should be able to fix this, right? :p

Justa a hint but daz loader doesnt support oeminfo, not slic either (its in bios, "hardcoded")
You shoudnt use all that crap. Make sure you have a genuin iso/dvd before using daz loader.

You havent told us what computer you got..which could be pretty vital.

I thought DAZ Loader will work - its not as detailed as Windows Loader Extreme (XE) but it did work with my other PC I built myself...this DELL is premade....
