Hello, I recently installed Mac OS X Leopard on VMware. The download did not include a Darwin.iso for VMware Tools. I downloaded a copy from a website, and after running, I get the error: "The following install step failed: run postupgrade script for files." Does anyone have a download link for a Darwin.iso that works with Leopard? Any other ideas on how to get this to work? Thanks

Me again...I extracted 8.0.1 but cannot find Darwin.iso. Where is it located? Am I using the right version? Is there an easier way to get Darwin?

I found Darwin and tried a few. Some installed successfully, but after rebooting they still don't work. The mouse stays in the VM. Does anyone know exactly what version I need for Leopard? Thanks

Anyone?? I'm using Leopard because my CPU doesn't handle 64-bit VM's. If this doesn't work I'll have wait to buy a new processor (later this month) and upgrade to El Capitan (I'm a Apple Beta member.) Then try the newest Darwin.iso.

Leopard is too old. I don't know if Darwin.iso supports Leopard.

The first version I tried is Snow Leopard.

I don't think it will support Leopard. And I think you nail the point.

Can I ask you something ? Do you guys run OS X in VMware on Windows host ? Beacuse at my end i can't make it 100 % smooth and not even 720p videos don't run well.

I'm using MAC OS X 10.11 on Vmware Workstation on Windows.

Videos and apps that require graphical hardware accelerations are not smooth at all.

It may be because of less resource consuming :)
