Need halp changing one slic for another

    Hello,

    I have an ASUS M5A99X EVO R2, I used the phoenix tool to install an HP slic into the bios and it all went well. Now I want to flash a newer bios but I also want to change the slic to ASUS. I followed the same procedure using phoenixtool (new module method), just like last time. I installed the new bios, booted up verified the new bios version number, all was good except thatthe new ASUS slic didn't overwrite the old HP slic, which is still present.

    What do I have to do to change the sllic?

    I tried it but the HP slic persists. Any other ideas?

    I downloaded the latest from AMI, but had to use 32 bit afuwingui as I'm currently running XP Pro SP3.
