Need Help ASAP, computer hardware issue.

    Hey everyone, I have an issue. I have a computer that I was going to fix, only to find out that the CPU heatsink brackets had broken. I figure there are two options: 1) Replace motherboard, 2) get thermal adhesive. Its an older socket 478 w SDRAM, price is an issue.

    So obviously thermal adhesive sounds good,but I have never used it, what do you think?

    WOW, the computer is a dimention 2300 and that ad specifically says dimention 2300! Way to go.

    Adhesive....sounds like a disaster to me..:eek::D
