Need help for only using My hd tv as second moniter via hdmi

    I hv lenovo g580 lappy with intel hd 4000 graphics but the problem is I am unnable to use second screen only option after selecting it my tv says unsupported signal but from where to fix this resulution? Plz help me out guyzz as Extend display option everything works ok I hv fixed the resulution 1080i

    press win+p choose SECOND SCREEN ONLY

    GOTO Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution

    CHOOSE 2nd DISPLAY

    press apply

    Adjust 2nd display resolution

    press Apply.

    DONE

    after selecting 2nd display lappy screen goes black nd tv screen shows unsupported resulution

    Read again CHOOSE 2nd DISPLAY, press apply, Adjust 2nd display resolution press Apply.

    yes choosed 2nd display apply both screen goes black and resulution choose option not available in 2nd display

    do you use generic W8 video card driver or the one from the manufacturer?

    Trying from yesterday with intel hd4000 driver but didn't worked so unistalled it
