My HP Pavilion a6357c Desktop doesnot work.

I'm 100% sure the MB is finished, since some capacitors are bulged.

I'm looking for a replacement MB.

    Current MB is MCP61PM-HM (Nettle2)

    Form factor: microATX
    Memory sockets: DDR2
    Processor socket: AM2
    CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+

Please recommand a MB for me, and I can keep all other parts and I donot have to modify front panel connectors.

    Thank you for your suggestions.

Would you be modding the BIOS to hold SLIC 2.1 ?
If so choose a MB which has already been flashed succesfully and which a modded BIOS file has already been made.
Marry the two together and your set to go.

    Just a thought..

    Thanks, Steven4554

    Sorry for my late responding.

I've found ECS GeForce6100PM-M2 (V3.0), 40$ cdn, and it works perfect now

I have no plan to mod BIOS, but I'll do if I have to.
