Hoping someone can help me with this surface mount. Spoiler It has 12 pins as well as the 2 pads on the far left and right. I don't know if those pads are for anything more than anchoring. The only marking that looks like it might be relevant is the JCCG4, I doubt the D81, D92 or UC7 are related. But I'm not sure. If it helps, this is a Kaby Lake, 200 Series Intel Chipset, with PCIe SSD and Thunderbolt ports. Anyway, it doesn't appear to be SATA which is 7 pins or 7+6 for slimline. Or USB 3 which is 9 pins or sometimes 11 for power delivery. Nor Thunderbolt which, I believe, has 20 pins. So I'm at a loss, any help would be appreciated.
Since I have no idea what type of board/system this is. Here's some guesses going only by the first impression of the picture... keyboard, display (LVDS) or touchscreen is where you see this type of fpc cable connection mostly.
hmm maybe this dude are sleeping until now lol hehe seem one misterious mobo/laptop/smartphone/pc/unknow device
Looks to me like a keyboard connection on a laptop, but that is only a guess. A pic of the entire motherboard would have been helpful.
looks to be a laptop or some type of tablet board to me and without any type of specs, not possible to say what it could be for
to identify board and look at schematics.. need a model of board or device it goes in taking a wild guess looks like copper area is a lid for some mini pci express.
Looking at the touchscreen crystal display connector (JCCD2) you would want to think this JCCG4 has something related to your Dell laptop screen.
I don't have time either, I mean I have other things I should be doing. And like I said, I wouldn't take a soldering iron to this until the 1 year warranty is up. But I ordered a 500GB Samsung NVMe to replace the 256GB Toshiba it had, so when I open it back up to replace it I can test those pins for voltage and ground based on the datasheet. ***EDIT: Now I'm wondering if there's a mirrored 12 pins on the other side of the board.
