sorry for the trouble. i really have no idea what to do now. i saw a file from the thepiratebay which would activate windows 7. this file is daz windows loader v2.2 and was uploaded by a trusted source. i ran wat fix first because the loader won't let me install (notification is "modified") then rebooted. then i uninstalled KB971033 and KB976932. after that i rebooted the system. after reboot i checked windows update and hide KB971033 and KB976932. then i started the windows loader v 2.2 and clicked uninstall then rebooted the system again. the next thing is did after the reboot was ran the loader again and clicked install then restart the system. upon rebooting, it's still saying that windows is not genuine and i cannot even validate the system thru the microsoft website. i started doing these steps again and i even disabled the two WAT files in the task scheduler and deleting the WAT folder in the windows registries. still i get this "windows not genuine notification". i am already out of options and i was hoping that someone can walk me through on how to make my system activated. below are the details after i ran MGADIAG: Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0): ----------------------------------------- Windows Validation Data--> Validation Code: 50 Cached Online Validation Code: 0xc004c4a7 Windows Product Key: *****-*****-TMVMJ-BBMRX-3MBMV Windows Product Key Hash: 55n8g6xdzhe4AOWhmTzdzQoLfa4= Windows Product ID: 00426-292-0000007-85176 Windows Product ID Type: 5 Windows License Type: Retail Windows OS version: 6.1.7600.2.00010100.0.0.001 ID: {48D1A313-A074-4600-B7D7-632B6FBB9780}(3) Is Admin: Yes TestCab: 0x0 LegitcheckControl ActiveX: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Product Name: Windows 7 Ultimate Architecture: 0x00000000 Build lab: 7600.win7_gdr.120830-0334 TTS Error: Validation Diagnostic: Resolution Status: N/A Vista WgaER Data--> ThreatID(s): N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Windows XP Notifications Data--> Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 File Exists: No Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 WgaTray.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 WgaLogon.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGA Notifications Data--> Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGAExec.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGAAddin.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGA Data--> Office Status: 109 N/A OGA Version: N/A, 0x80070002 Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-364-80041010_025D1FF3-229-80041010_025D1FF3-230-1_025D1FF3-517-80040154_025D1FF3-237-80040154_025D1FF3-238-2_025D1FF3-244-80070002_025D1FF3-258-3 Browser Data--> Proxy settings: N/A User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; Not sure, but I think you did too much and messed up your OS. Looks like there's at least one problem, with WAT Code: File Scan Data--> File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\watadminsvc.exe[Hr = 0x80070003] File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\npwatweb.dll[Hr = 0x80070003] File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\watux.exe[Hr = 0x80070003] File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\watweb.dll[Hr = 0x80070003] I hope someone can help you. Good luck
i forgot to mention that the details included are after i reverse the methods (ran wat fix, and uninstalled loader). i am not exactly sure how i can find the source file just to remove the notification or reset the validation details then run the methods again. sorry again for the trouble.
windows is activated now thanks to daz for his help. here is what fixed the problem: 1. uninstalled the loader then reboot. 2. uninstalled KB971033 then reboot. 3. validated online but windows is still not genuine after the process. 4. reinstalled the loader then reboot. 5. uninstalled KB971033 and the notification was gone. checked the system for the activation status and windows is activated. no need to fresh-install windows 7. thank you so much as this definitely saved my time from reinstalling windows 7. may the force be with you people...
Un-installation of KB971033 is not necessary as it does not effect Windows Loader in any manner. but glad you got your system up and running
