After a couple hours of browsing and reading I think I have downloaded everything needed I have a Dell PowerEdge T110 I would like to upgrade to server 2012 (for home use) BUT What is SLIC and exactly how do I install the v2.3 for activation of Server2012 ?
Is it OEM from Dell already? If it is the BIOS update should update to 2.2 automatically. You will get a warning in the system log about the missing MSDM, but will work. If it is turned off someone may know the asset switches in the BIOS forum.
No it's not from dell ( downloaded from a link here) Thanks I will check out those links And yes I have used the loader for win 7. Works great I tried using the loader on 2012r2 but the icon was red in the top right corner and Windows wouldn't activate
I use Windows 2008 R2 Server Enterprise.. WORKS FINE for me, Other that Server 2012r2 is likes crappy "Windows 10" looks! My Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise WORKS FINE!
I just tried on Virtual Machine Server-2012 Datacenter via MS TOOLKIT. installed KMS ok. but in green log window it shows re-arm period 160 days. Windows status is showing Activated. can someone tell me what is the difference between AutoKMS, AutoKMS custom task and KMS server service in toolkit ?
