this computer was flooded with viruses on vista its a laptop and now it just wont work. i cant get past the windows is expanding files its stuck at 0% and then gives me an error code. i downloaded windows from on here it was some site with a link for a .img file. i need the 32 bit version. can anybody give me another link. i cant find the file again and this computer is messed up and i really need it fixed. thank you very much, also. this site is very nice like it very useful

thats what i downloaded i downloaded Windows 7 Professional x86 (32-bit) from there and it wont work its stuck on the expanding files at 0%. im trying to download the home version now. maybe its that. has anybody ever had this problem before? this is the first time i ever encountered it. i even reburned the disc it still wont work i burned it at 4x. it says windows cannot install required files. the file may be corrupt or missing. make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070017
you need to download a burning application like IMGBurn and burn the ISO on the lowest possible speed. If you burned it through explorer, its known to have issues because of the speed the disc was burned at.
Is there any possible way you can try burning the ISO off another computer? It could be a number of things that are preventing you from creating the disc properly such as a defective drive. Me personally, I bought UltraISO and I have never had 1 problem buring any of my images.
naw this computer is new it should work. i burned 2 copies. im thinking maybe when it downloaded the file was corrupt. im downloading windows 7 home edition now im gonna try to burn that when its done to see if it works.
Simple things if you think the file was corrupt, then download again. You could also check file hashes for the file
im going to retry the home version here in a minute. i'll let you guys know, its at 97% right now. the thing you guys gave me, is it already activated
update: i got it fixed. I had to redownload home basic off of that site it must of been corrupted and didn't download right. as soon as i burned it it worked. I was geeked that it worked. Activation worked very good too with the windows loader. Very happy I got it to work. Thank you guys very much. This site is simply awesome!
