Hi

I am purchasing a new PC and don't want to buy Windows 7:rolleyes:. I've downloaded the iso. file for Windows 7 ultimate but then don't know what to do as there are soooo many options on the web. Firstly I wanted to put the Windows 7 on a USB as the DVD burner on my laptop doesn't work. Secondly, what do I do when i switch on my new PC to install Windows 7 and how do i activate it?

I did try looking at previous posts but they're really confusing :confused:and don't give ALL the information. Please help. I'm not really good with technical stuff so simple words please:(, for example BIOS is mentioned in a lot of place! And maybe someone knows a guide with screenshots?

Also the PC is custom built from Chillblast so not an OEM.
    Thanks.

    Maddy.

Download MDL's own Daz's Windows Loader here: forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/24901-Windows-Loader-Current-release-information

    Read the readme and Install

Thanks to anarchist9027 and FFManHole. I read that Installation guide, its very good. But one thing, I don't understand is this bit

"Windows 7 is finally... finalizing settings. This should only take a few moments to complete. (If you have copied Windows Loader by Daz onto the installation media after a few seconds a bar will appear at the top of the window stating that the loader is installing.)

Not much to say here. Just wait some more. If you have copied Windows Loader by Daz onto the installation media your computer will restart here."

How do I do the bit in bold? Or can I just install "Windows Loader" after Windows 7 is installed?

    Thanks.

You can run Windows Loader after installing Windows. In fact, I believe most users install in this manner. You actually have a 30 grace period to activate Windows.
