I currently have a machine with a Win 7 pro install activated with a retail key I purchased. I intend to make this machine a backup 2nd unit as I am building a new machine with a Z87/Haswell board. I will deactivate windows on the current machine and use the retail key on the new machine. I plan on using the original install on the backup machine as it is now (don't want to have to do a reinstall). Need help on how to do this with DAZ Loader 1. Will DAZ Loader work on a deactivated retail install? 2. What special steps or tips do I need to follow to accomplish my goal? 3. I was going to follow the steps below to deactivate. Is this what I should use?
You could try running "SLUI 4" and do phone activation on the other system. We mostly use it for Win8 because of the prowmc stuff but it works for win7 as well.
