So here's my problem. I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro from Windows 8.1 Pro Preview. I was activated on that. After the upgrade, I was no longer activated. I used one activation method that involved me renaming "tokens" files and deleting my "cache.dat" and that activation worked. I then installed Windows Media Center using a key from the WIndows Ultimate Key Finder Premium (or whatever it may be called). After I installed Windows Media Center, I was no longer activated. I have tried using the latest KMSpico beta to activate, but to no avail. It only activated my Office 2013. What should I do to activate my 8.1 Pro? Do I have to get rid of my WMC? I really am at a loss for what to do it seems I've tried every activation method to no avail. Thank you to all who try and help.
KMSpico won't work for 8.1 Retail Edition, only Pro VL and Enterprise. You manage to activate Office 2013 because it's a VL edition. And for teh WMC activation on 8.1 you can try the skype phone activation method. Make sure you need to have a genuine ProWMC Key. Cheers
what is the exact file name of ISO used to install Windows 8,1 ? Also I think it's safe to say if the pro version wasn't activated first WMC won't be either unless you have made or downloaded an ISO which includes wmc in it where 8.1 pro was activated ..
I have read a method in this forum somewhere, I can't remember what it was right now, but someone should be able to direct you if you don't find it

Your welcome .. You can also convert the ISO file you have to the one you need with a svf or xdelta file but you'll have to give up the exact file name of the file you have for anyone to help you there
