640kbps is pretty close to 60KB/sec for DSL, and torrent speeds vary considerably depending on several factors, not to mention now some ISP purposely throttle torrent traffic. Did you open and foreward the service port your torrent client uses?
Sorry. What do you mean 640kbps pretty close to 60kb/sec? where is another 580kbps go? I have not yet open and foreward the service post because out ip is not static. Our ip change everytime when i turnoff and on my adsl modem and router.
2centsworth, thank you for your explaination and now i understand. you said "To foreward the correct service port you need to assign a static internal IP to the torrent PC, and foreward that internal IP address. This has nothing to do with your WAN dynamic IP of your DSL service which changes occasionally." how to do that step by step instruction?
