Lately when I share links to my Facebook page they are not actually links but act as send message to page. "Send message" button is also added on the right side... Anyone knows what's going on?
In order to understand anything at all, you should let us know which links, where and how you send or how to you share them on Facebook. Or if you use any aids, which ones and how. Finally, there have been several problems with facebook for a long time, and what works there today may not work anymore in a few hours.
Hi @kaljukass It's any link. If I try to link to MDL same happens: MDL logo here, or the title, or the description, everything on click goes to "send message".
It's been like this on Facebook for a long time, there's nothing wrong with it. That's their style. They always put a link in just that form under your fb post, and if you want this link also as text, put it again in the text area. But you can also put more links, then they will all be visible in the text. Under the text of what you have posted, you can delete the similar link with picture or select another one if you have several links in the post. To change, go on the link image under the post, put arrow on the fb link with the image as you posted above, there in the upper left corner there appears then two arrows for selection and a trash can for deletion. If you have already posted, select edit post and then you can do exactly the same. NB! It's worth remembering that you have to do this after every post you edit, if the post you're editing contains even one link. It's really really very hassle in general, but I hope you can handle it. PS. But there are many more unpleasant things on fb, but I will not talk about them here and now. And more. It is worth remembering that from December 2023 something strange happens every day on fb and often many things are not available at all or work very badly.
I'm not sure that you understand my issue at all. Other people have the same problem: Code: https://www.reddit.com/r/facebook/comments/18yc2rp/our_fb_group_is_suddenly_not_able_to_post_links/ Nevermind.
Well, then you could post some examples, that anyone could see everything yourself. Why don't you do it? But it would definitely be better to contact their administrators or webmasters directly with FB problems.
