What should I use as the KMS host?

    127.0.0.1?

Or the IP assigned to the VM?

I assume the problem is that the client isnt reaching the host, possibly because I'm setting the host as something incorect.

If you've followed kelorgo's instructions and installed KB2885698.
Set your VM Host back to 192.168.0.9 and use that as the address from your clients when activating. ;)

You have solved my problem. Much appreciated.

Steps for anyone who is following along, and needs Office 2013 activated:

    - Installed reccomended KB for Server 2012
    - Set VM back to NAT mode replicating physical network @ static IP within DHCP range
    - ospp.vbs /act

I am sure this will succeed, however another question is raised. Client made connection to host, but its telling me the KMS count is insufficient.

Is there a way to fix this? I assume it means its run out of activations and the count needs to be reset.

    Hello again folks.

    Answered my own question.

Use KMS host emulator created by CODYQX4s to send spoofed activation requests to your KMS server to increase activation counts.

Put CODYQX4's tool in C:\Windows and run an elevated command prompt with the following steps to send activation requests:

    1. Elevated CMD
    2. cd \Windows
    3. "KMS Client.exe" portnumber kmshostip Windows/Office2010/Office2013 <--- Depends on what you're activating.
