Need somehelp to install xp-pro on a Gateway laptop

    Hi friends,
    I have this Gateway (6018GZ) laptop that came with xp-home edition. I want to install xp-pro on it and have it pre-activated like many OEM's.
    Can I please have some pointers as what to do in order to accomplish this?
    Do I need to find a copy of xp-pro windows by Gateway first?
