I'm trying to refresh/reset my mom's PC, she has 2 accounts on it, a normal one and an admin one. The normal one logs in, but when I go to settings > Refresh the PC (to basically clean the HD) it keeps asking for an admin password. I think it's Windows 10 home.

What can be done? If I put Windows on a bootable USB and try an install of LTSC for example, will it give me an issue? Or should I try to somehow remove it from the current system now, if it's even possible?

Although you can reset the admin pw easily using various tools, but if you are planning to do a clean install from boot this should not cause any problems, make sure you format or delete existing partitions and re-partition the system drive (no actual need to do this for storage drives/partitions).

And always backup as much as you can before you start:)
