I was in need to run Test Mode to make my mouse work at 500hz. Now I can see ugly watermark . How can I remove it without turning off Test Mode? I found Remove Watermark, V0.8, Build 20090509 (should work?) but all links are dead :/.
Right click and launch Command Prompt as Administrator. In the Command Prompt type bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING OFF and then Reboot. Enjoy friend
He wants to accomplish this but NOT disable test mode, which is what your command does. Watermark removal patches should do it, if not then reshack user32.dll.mui yourself and remove the entries.
This will disable the watermark. If something goes wrong, he always has the option to turn it back on by running bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON

to remove test mode watermark. i gave it a shot and it worked. thanks i have build 7600. does it work on most recent window builds as well ?!
is it necessary to update to 7601 because i have already build 7600 and it worked !! i read somewhere that the watermark removal tool was tested on the following systems among others .. Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 windows 7 x64 updated up to the last patch ATM) windows 7 32bits build 7600
but i am little quite confused what is relation between watermark removal and necessary upgrade ? and if i upgrade while the watermark is removed, is it ok ? thanks aagain for your quick replies
i have a question can watermark removal work on pararell desktops ? i mean if i use MAC OS with windows 7 running in parallels and i want to remove watermark from windows 7 will it work .. thanks
